About MTBlind.org
MTBlind.org is a dedicated resource for Montana's blind and low-vision population. The project was started by Ed Worrell of OverHere Consulting about eight months ago,
but the idea has been in the back of his mind for nearly six years.
Ed envisioned a comprehensive, easy-to-access resource that could connect blind and low-vision
Montanans with vital services, organizations, and opportunities to enhance their independence
and quality of life.
How It Started
The project truly came to life after a conversation between Ed and Jocelyn DeHaas, the Executive Director of the Montana Association for the Blind.
They quickly realized they shared a similar vision for what MTBlind.org could become.
Ed had the technical expertise to build the website, while Jocelyn had the connections and resources to make it as informative and useful as possible. Together, they made it happen, and today, MTBlind.org stands as a collaborative effort between multiple organizations that serve Montana's blind and low-vision community.
How You Can Help
This website is a passion project for Ed, built with the goal of making information
and resources easily accessible to those who need them most. However, keeping MTBlind.org running takes time, effort, and financial support. If you find this resource valuable and feel generous, please consider making a donation to help sustain and expand the project.
